The final design for the front cover. A bright and lively spring day serves as the background for the books. The kite highlights the IBPA logo while giving a feeling of upward movement and momentum. The books shown here are placeholders and will be replaced with this year's picks from the titles submitted.

This concept and the ones following use a kite concept to represent spring as well as upward movement. The bottom area needs to be reserved for the label on the left. In this concept, the IBPA logo pops off the green background.

This all blue background is the sky behind the kite and is part of the kite image. An option would be to add some putty white clouds in the background.

A very lively background with the bright green grass and lighter sky. The IBPA logo is quite prominent by being featured in the kite.
