The copy I used for this poster is as follows:

1. Define product requirements as completely as possible.

Methodically determine user requirements.

Identify customer demands which lead to a successful product.

2. Create an array of concepts.

Evaluate concepts and estimate cost and development lead time.

Review concepts to determine path for continued development.

3. The prototype design and the
fabrication method must yield a functional prototype that will produce results as close to the final design as possible to minimize development time and expense.

4. Individual functions proven to meet acceptance criteria are integrated into a completed design.

Verification testing of the completed prototype design is the final step of the product development process.

5. Complete transfer to manufacturing encompassing automation, test methods, vendor selection, or other considerations follows and begins as soon as possible.
